Hi, I'm Mayy. I'm an Illustrator and Designer currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
My playful and exuberant work is commonly focused on themes of self-expression, fashion and pop-culture, and is often explored through various mediums, be it collage, illustration, photography or mixed-media - my favourite of all being ‘doodle-bombing’, a concept I'm most known for, where I illustrate over the covers of influential publications such as Vogue, TIME and Harper’s Bazaar.
As an Australian Arab Muslim creative, I'm also invested in using my art as a way of sparking up dialogue, sharing my experiences of background and culture, as well as giving a voice to those who share my intersectionality - driven by making connections and representing differences in my own whimsical way.
