Meet Mayy! An Illustrator and Designer currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

A proud Palestinian Muslim woman, her creative practice is rooted in storytelling, joy, and representation — using visual art to connect, uplift, and spark dialogue across cultures and communities.
Her work spans illustration, collage, photography, and mixed media — often centred around themes of self-expression, fashion, pop culture, and identity. She’s best known for her signature technique, doodle-bombing — reimagining iconic magazine covers such as Vogue, TIME, and Harper’s Bazaar with whimsical, hand-drawn additions.
Her practice is guided by a belief in design as a tool for connection, healing, and visibility — shaped by her lived experience and a deep sensitivity to layered identities. Mayy is passionate about representation and using creativity to build spaces that feel meaningful, inclusive, and full of heart — where difference is not just seen, but embraced.
