My illustrations have come to life! Early this year, Digital Fabrics approached me to join their Designer Project, an initiative created to showcase and celebrate artists all across Australia.
I wanted to curate a collection that was an ode to the art style I’ve been immersing myself in this past year and is deeply inspired by this form of expression which I love to dabble in - doodle-bombing. Using motifs derived from some of my personal and fan-favourite artworks, each pattern I created for this collection champions what you could call the ‘MayyMakes Essentials’ - from my go-to florals, stars and polka-dots, to fruits, eyes and lightning bolts.
